Halloween Parade

The halls of Eaglecrest will be full of ghosts, goblins, pirates & princesses. Come to the annual Halloween Parade tomorrow (Monday) at 10:00am.

Golden Eagle Award

6th Grade Parents,

Hopefully you receive the blue paper that was sent home a few weeks about about the new "Golden Eagle" award that the students can earn in sixth grade.  There is no limit to the number of students that can earn this award, they just have to meet four areas:

1.  Have A's and B's in their "Learning Habits" grade (following rules, being respectful, completing homework, etc.)

2.  Earned A's and B's in all academic areas (math, science, etc.)

3. Participate in on Eaglecrest event/activity during any of their years here (Reflections, Choir, Knowledge Bowl, Great American Award, Storytelling Festival, or Presidential Fitness)

4.  Write a 200 word essay about the school creed (what it means to them, how it makes them a better person, what they learn from it, etc.)

The first two will be signed off by your students teacher near the end of the year.  The last two are the responsibility of the student to complete before the end of the year.

Pumpkins on Parade

Remember tonight is Pumpkins on Parade from 6:30-8:00pm in the Library. Come wander through our creative pumpkin patch then enjoy some yummy refreshments!

Kookies with K-9 Winners!

We have the FINAL results in the Kookies with the K-9 contest.  It was a strong battle until the very end! Thanks to everyone in making this contest a great success!

Thank you to all the Eaglecrest Families that came to our PTA fundraiser and showed your support to our school! We had such a great turn out and fun was had by all who attended! We will see you all again next year!

A quick announcement regarding the Silent Auction-

The winners of auction baskets that were not collected will be notified Monday, you will have until Wednesday to pay and pick up your baskets or it will go to the next highest bidder. Thank you all for coming and making our fundraiser such a big success!

Chick-fil-A Spirit Night Winners

We have the results of our Chick-fil-A Spirit Night!!! Congratulations to Ms. Weathers 6th grade class for winning the Chick-fil-A Lunch with the Cow Party!

We had 116 vouchers presented and our school earned $305 that night! Our next Chick-fil-A Spirit Night is November 8th. Thanks for your support!

SCHOOL FUNDRAISER!!

Family Fall Festival

Saturday, October 15th
from 3pm-7pm

$20.00 per Family or $10.00 per individual,
that will get you UNLIMITED carnival activities/games!
If you are only coming for dinner and the auction it's free to get in!

Come support our Students and PTA during this fun fundraiser!

We will be having a Carnival, Food, Auction, Reptile Room,
Balloon Animals, Live Music and LOTS of fun!

Your $20 will go directly to the programs that your children can enjoy all year long at our great school!

At our Carnival we will have: Inflatable- Bounce House, Bungee Run, Double Slides, Jacobs Ladder, Obstacle Course.....Also we will have- Reptile Room, Dunk Tank, Pop-A-Shot, Face Painting, Lollipop Toss, Colored Hair Station, Fishing Pond, Cookie Walk, Bean Bag Toss, and Live Music!

Order now to avoid the lines: $20.00 per family or $10.00 per individual and that is for UNLIMITED carnival activities! You can  pre-order between October 3rd and October 13th online or in the office and the wristbands will be sent home with your student Friday October 14th. On Friday or Saturday you will need to pick up your packet at the carnival. We will offer dinner and concessions at an additional charge. So why not pre-order your dinner now and avoid the lines! You can order here on our PTA Blog (right sidebar) or you can return your payment stub to the school. 

Your Carnival tickets and Meal tickets will come home with your student on Friday October 14th, Make sure you bring them to the festival with you!!!

Week #3

We're just over half way in our Kookies with the K-9 contest.  The points are really starting to add up!  Congratulations to Mr. Madruga's 5th grade class for being our TOP DOG this week.  Awesome job!

It's super easy to earn points for your class.  Simply turn in your Box Tops collection sheets, Campbell's Labels for Education, My Coke Rewards caps & flaps, ink/toner cartridges, old cell phones.  Also, have your family link their Smith's card to the Earn & Learn program then turn any receipts after it's been linked.  You must RE-ENROLL your card EVERY year.  Remember to join the PTA and "Like" our Facebook page too.

THE PTA Family Fall Festival is coming up and we need your support. Please donate ITEMS TO GO WITH YOUR Grades THEME. Here is a list of the Themes again. Remember the deadline to turn in donations is Monday, October 3^rd.

(fairy tale items for boys/girls)

These are just ideas, We would love any and all donations! Parents if you have any larger items that you can donate to the auction that would be great as well. (examples- tickets to sporting events, custom made items, services etc…)

Please keep in mind that this fundraiser is the ONLY one will will have for this school year. This is support all of our PTA programs like Radkids, reading incentives, daddy daughter dance, mother son night, teacher appreciation and so much more!!

Week # 2

We have the results of Week #2 Kookies with the K-9 contest.  Congratulations to Mr. Greenwood & Mrs. Taylor’s 5th grade class AGAIN.  The turned in the most points last week (5,015 to be exact).  They will get to keep the TOP DOG trophy for another week.

It’s still early in the contest.  Your classroom could be the next TOP DOG winner if your class works together to turn in Box Tops, Campbell’s Labels for Education, My Coke Rewards caps, ink cartridges and old cell phones and bring them to school.  Remember you also get points for your parents joining PTA, linking their Smith’s Reward in the Earn & Learn program to our school, "Liking" our PTA Facebook page, and becoming a "Follower" on our Blog.

The PTA collects the contest items every Friday. So be sure to turn everything in each week!  Remember the top three classrooms with the most points at the end of the contest wins the Kookies with the K-9 party.  The contest ends October 19th.

Chick-fil-A Spirit Night!

Forget cooking tonight!

It's Eaglecrest's Chick-fil-A Spirit from 5:00-8:00pm.

Take your voucher (sent home Wednesday) with your teacher's name on when you go to dinner tonight. Our school receives 20% back of all sales that are linked with the Eaglecrest voucher. The classroom with the highest dollar amount spent (they keep track) will receive a delicious Chick-fil-A party!

And remember to save your cash register receipt to get a BONUS 25 points in our Kookies with the K-9 contest.  Receipts must be dated September 15th from 5:00-8:00pm to receive points. Please have your student place it in their classroom Box Tops collection box. Enjoy your yummy dinner!

Kookies with K-9

It's time for another contest! Kookies with the K-9...the top 3 classrooms with the most points at the end of the contest (October 19th) will win a special party with a Lehi Police K-9 and delicious cookies!

Become a follower of our blog & then post your student(s) TEACHER name under comments so their class can receive credit. Be sure to check back to see if there are any BONUS POINTS announced.

You are busted! You’ve been caught red handed holding onto our ongoing fundraising items like Box Tops, labels, My Coke Rewards caps and flaps, cell phones and ink. Now it’s time to hand it over in our Kookies with the K-9 Contest! This is definitely one time you want to have points on your record! Listed below are ways you can earn points for your classroom.

The three classrooms with the highest points at the end of the contest will win the super cool Kookies with the K-9 party! Officer Smith, from the Lehi Police Department, will bring his trusty K-9 companion for a presentation of what a trained police dog does to protect us and our community with cookies for a treat.

Contest ends on Wednesday, October 19th.

Each week the classroom who turns in the most points will win the “Top Dog” trophy to display and a shopping bag filled with school supplies.
